Why is the government claiming to have evidence that 90,000 people a year suffer conversion therapy when almost no cases were ever reported to its national helpline?
That is a really good point. They don't say 'exorcism can't possibly harm transgender people because spiritual beliefs can't change your immutable gender'. It does imply that they believe in gendered souls on some level.
The Galop helpline sounds like a racket from the outset: especially adding the £30,000 per year it also got from the Welsh government.
Where did its £150,000 a year go? Perhaps it should be investigated as a fraud / waste of government money / wrongly awarded based on absurd figures?
And why wasn't it closed down after one year--or have its funding hugely reduced?
When the Financial Crisis comes (and it will) all these organisations will go bankrupt
I hope so--they deserve to
How will the UK government make exorcism illegal without practising religious discrimination in breach of the Equality Act 2010?
Exorcism needs to be made illegal, because it appears the only way to snap people out of the gender madness (metaphorically speaking;-).

Exactly! I’m all for exorcists rights 😁
I think many women need exorcism. We're full of terfy demons.
