I have really bad brain fog and a migraine can someone explain like I’m five what this article means please? If not that’s ok. I’m just wondering if it applies to trans widows who were lied to and told they were married to “normal” men who were transitioning in secret.
Does it not strike people as nonsensical that someone would claim the need for privacy regarding identity when the context is getting naked and having sex? Such intimacy seems to imply that the participants have already gotten pretty darn private with each other.

Good luck with this case. The principle that we get to decide on the sex of person we wish to have intercourse with should be clear enough.
