It is not uncommon for a professional male pool player to do a break to zero ie. put down everything without the opponent getting a chance. Only ONE woman professional has ever achieved that!
Additionally Lynne Pinches taught her son to play pool and, by the time he was 15, he could beat her!
Apparently men and women have different spacial awareness also. This has been proven in the way that some menopausal women experience changes in their driving capabilities: a drop in our estrogen levels makes driving seem different. I have become a really nervous passenger as a result of this and I know other women who've had panic attacks on motorways when they used to be confident drivers.
So. Estrogen levels affect spacial awareness and mean that we play games like darts, pool and snooker differently.
